Quiet few months

RECENT EVENTS

There wasn't a lot going on last month so I had some time to do just for fun cookies and CUPCAKES :)

Yes, I started baking cupcakes too (just for fun for now) I actually really love decorating cupcakes, I'm finding it more fun than making/decorating cookies.
I'm going to wait a little while before I officially sell them, I'll keep you posted :)

I decided that from now on I will be donating to a different charity by season rather than by month or event, this gives me more time and occasions to increase the donation to the chosen charity :)

10% of the sales I get from April - end of August will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

IN HONOUR OF MY FATHER-LIVER HEALTH MONTH

The Canadian Liver Foundation contacted me in February and made me aware that March is Liver Health month and so I decided to use this opportunity to do alittle fundraising through my cookie sales to the Canadian Liver Foundation.

My father passed away 7 yrs ago from Liver disease and so last months event was very close to my heart.
I tried my very best to raise as much as I could through my cookie sales and I actually did very well :)
I just placed a donation of $300
Thanks to all my supporters!


I had a small get together (mini fundraiser) on March 28th with close friends and family.

March is Liver Health month and I am donating 10% of March's proceeds to The Canadian Liver Foundation.

The Canadian Liver Foundation is very special to me. I lost my Father 7 yrs ago to Liver Disease, and so this month to boost sales I will be entering every customer during this month into a draw to win a $50 Gift Certificate to be used at either Yorkdale Mall, Scarborough Town Centre and Square One. The winner will be selected on March 31st, 2010.


My Spritz and Amaretti Cookies are being redesigned due to my injured hand. They are still very pretty and delicious.

Below is a msg from CAMH about our Christmas donation to Gifts of Light, I thought I'd share it with everyone because I sure didn't do this on my own.

For many of our clients, this was the only gift they received- and may well have been the most important one you gave last year. FUNDRAISER FOR HAITI WAS A GREAT SUCCESS

I have to thank my wonderful family and friends for all their support and all their donations. We reached our goal in a matter of a week :) We raised $500 and a donation of the full $500 was sent to Red Cross for Haiti relief efforts.

FREE COOKIES WITH DONATION :)

This week my sister and I will be giving away free boxes of cookies for donations of $5 or more to be sent to Haiti to assist in relief efforts through Red Cross.

Just Order a box of Spritz cookies and pay whatever amount you would like to donate (minimum $5)

100% of the proceeds will be donated to Red Cross.

Lets all make a difference and help anyway that we can.

Place your order before Friday, January 22nd and we will deliver all orders in the GTA on Sunday, January 24th. Pick ups are welcome throughout the week.

Valentines day ideas

I had the whole weekend free to bake so I thought why not test out some of my ideas and see what i can come up with for Valentines day.
