Below is a msg from CAMH about our Christmas donation to Gifts of Light, I thought I'd share it with everyone because I sure didn't do this on my own.
Thank You to everyone!

Gifts of Light

Dear Amanda,

Thank you for purchasing a CAMH Gift of Light last holiday season.

Thanks to your generosity, we delivered gifts to the 600 clients who spent the holidays with us. For many of our clients, this was the only gift they received- and may well have been the most important one you gave last year.

I had the pleasure of handing out gifts to clients in the Mood and Anxiety program. It was a joy to watch the faces of clients light up knowing that someone had taken the time to think of them.

I wanted to share with you some of the wonderful things people had to say about your Gifts of Light :

“It was such a pleasure to wrap my daughter in her new pajamas, lovely terry robe and cuddly throw. In her most distressed time, she gave away all her clothes. We look forward to helping her buy new ones when she’s discharged. This is a wonderful bridge until then.” –Mother of a CAMH client

“It was so touching to think that someone has spent so much on a gift for me. It was a really, really special gift.” –CAMH client

“I don’t have family and it was nice to get a gift for the holidays.” –CAMH client

Thank you for supporting those in the community fighting addiction and mental health issues.

Sincerely,

Valerie Pringle
